About the Opportunity

Provectus Physiotherapy are currently seeking a Registered Physiotherapist to join our growing mobile physiotherapy team, based in Vancouver, BC (remote).

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Travel to patients’ homes across the Greater Vancouver Area to provide one-on-one physiotherapy treatments
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans for elderly patients dealing with mobility issues, post-surgical recovery, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, respiratory conditions, and chronic pain management
  • Implement exercise-based therapy, including strengthening, range-of-motion exercises, and functional mobility training
  • Educate patients and caregivers on fall prevention, injury prevention, home safety modifications, and personalized rehabilitation exercises
  • Coordinate with other healthcare providers (e.g., physicians, kinesiologists, occupational therapists, nurses, case managers, and family caregivers) to ensure integrated patient care
  • Utilize computerized record-keeping for efficient and effective documentation of patient progress
  • Provide empathetic patient centred and family centred care, building strong connections with elderly clients and their families

About You

To qualify, you are a Licensed & Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of BC (CPTBC), and you have a valid BC driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (mandatory for home visits).

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Experience collaborating with multiple healthcare stakeholders to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for empowering elderly patients
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while being part of a collaborative healthcare team
  • Comfortable carrying necessary physiotherapy equipment into patients’ homes
  • Empathetic, patient, and skilled at working with complex cases
  • Exceptional time-management skills
